Diane Feinstein: No War, Unless it Lines My Pockets. Time to Resign.
The Virtuous Republic is calling for Dianne Feinstein to resign from the Senate. It isn't bad enough that she votes to undermine national security of the United States, but she is hypocritical about it.
It seems, that Feinstein, Democrat from California, while serving on the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, could on one hand, oppose war, but on the other, steer Federal contracts to companies that her husband partly owns.
How can you oppose war, but profit from it at the same time? If you are a liberal, wealthy elitist, saying one thing and doing another seemingly comes natural.
What she did was a crime. She used her office to line her pockets.
Conservatives, it is time to join forces and start a nation-wide movement to have this crooked politician not only removed from office, but prosecuted for using her office to gain government contracts for her husband.
Readers, you can follow the rest of the story here:
During her six years as chair and ranking member of the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, Senator Dianne Feinstein annually supervised the appropriation of billions of dollars for specific military construction projects. The San Francisco lawmaker supervised her own staff of military construction experts and she lobbied Pentagon officials to support her favorite projects.
She wielded quite a bit of power and succeeded in steering hundreds of billions of dollars in military contracts to companies partially owned by her wealthy husband, Richard Blum. One company alone earned $792 million from military construction and environmental cleanup projects approved by Feinstein’s committee and another $759 million.
