Isn't the Left Supposed to be Open Minded?
“The administration has sent you here today to convince the members of these two committees and the Congress that victory is at hand. With all due respect to you, I must say I don’t buy it..." “We can’t take any of this administration’s assertions on Iraq at face value anymore.” --Tom Lantos, Democrat
Aren't liberals supposed to be opened minded? So why did Democrat and obvious MoveOn.Org stooge, Tom Lantos dismiss General Petraeus's testimony before he even heard it? Why would a person, who by the left's own definition has an open mind, give the GAO report more credence (notice how he left doesn't mention the O'Hanlon/Pollack report?) than the testimony from the man who deals with and lives in Iraq almost everyday? Doesn't an open minded person listen to all the facts, before reaching a conclusion? Or is Iraq, like global warming where consensus means more than reality?
Could it be the left is biased? Could it be that the left is closed minded? Could it be that the left is invested in defeat?
Listen to Count Chocula and discover why the Democrats are so close minded. So invested in the past, that even new facts cannot make them give up their 40 year allegiance military weakness. Why invite a man to testify if you aren't willing to keep an open mind? Shameful. Simply shameful. If only the Democrats had an ounce of shame left....
Let's open the mike for Count Chocula....
