Daily KOS: Isn't It Time He Listened to Some of the Boots on the Ground?

The Daily KOS has a front page article that, in essence, asks why Bush doesn't listen to the boots on the ground. Here is the screenshot:

So let me get this straight, Bush should listen only to soldiers who oppose the war? But he shouldn't listen to a soldier who thinks victory is possible? General Petraeus, isn't desk jockey, he is a soldier's soldier. He gets his boots muddy, walks in the most dangerous Baghdad neighborhoods, and is a hands on type of guy. But his opinion should be ignored.

The disconnect in the left's logic is astounding. Reason is defined only as that which agrees with their political philosophy.

I'd have more respect for the left, if they would just be honest. Just come out and say that you want the U.S. to be defeated in Iraq. That you don't care what happens to the Iraqis. That you really don't care about the troops. That American power embarrasses you. That your political philosophy is closer to Marx than Locke.
