Category Image Carnival of Ohio Politics #84

I've been remiss in posting links to the Carnival of Ohio Politics of late. The carnival is a great resource for those interested in local and statewide politics in Ohio.

This week's carnival, #84, has a number of great articles, including one about citizens protesting against the heavy handed actions of Hamilton County sheriff, Simon Leis. The Cincinnati Beacon carries a story about how Leis, a Republican, has used his office to bully government workers to support the county sales tax increase. Sorry Sheriff Leis, being a stubborn knuckle head is not a virtue. Good Republicans do not raise taxes over the objections of the people.

Another great find at the carnival, is a piece by Conservative Culture on Senator Brown's refusal to criticize MoveOn.org's character assassination of General Petraeus. Seems the good Senator couldn't reconcile standing up for a good man and the $280,000 MoveOn directed to his campaign in 2006.

That and much more at the Carnival!
