Petraeus' letter to the troops

General Petraeus comes across as an honest, competent man. He sugar coat the bad news. In fact, he spells out what is still wrong in Iraq.

Of course the left will run with this letter, shouting from the roof tops that Iraq is a failure.

Rome wasn't built in day, and neither will Iraq. The question is whether our infantile left will show the patience to let a competent man complete his job or will they throw a tantrum until we walk away from Iraq.
