Trent Lott Announces His Retirement

Trott announcing his retirement is a lot like finding out that the girl that dumped you now has 6 kids and weighs 300 pounds. There is just a certain amount of satisfaction in the news.

When you where in the majority, we didn't need a deal maker. We needed a Republican, with a vision, committed to the conservative cause. Majorities don't need deal makers, they need doers. Lott failed the conservative cause, over and over again. His disdain for the people's resistant to immigration amnesty only proved that "making a deal" was more important than our movement's values and core beliefs.
