Update: Dream Act Fails Cloture Vote

According to Hot Air, Harry Reid's attempt to revive The Dream Act, another amnesty bill for illegal aliens, has failed a cloture vote 52-44. When the Senate's homepage posts the vote, I'll add it to this update.

Looks like the barbarians have been stopped at the gate once again.

Let me ask you this. Why are our elites so hell bent on giving the perks of citizenship to illegal aliens? Why do our elites care more about illegal aliens, people who have broken our laws than you or me? For the left, why is Harry Reid more concerned with illegal aliens, giving them citizenship, and in-state tuition than, say stopping the war in Iraq?

Update: Here is the roll call. Interesting that George Voinovich, Republican and well known crybaby from Ohio, actually voted like a Republican this time. Maybe he finally got the message.
