French Riots: Are We Seeing the Nascency of Car Bombing? 

Something in this CNN article about the riots in France jumped out at me. Besides the organized use of firearms, there was an almost innocent description of flaming cars being driven into buildings. 

Rioting and arson quickly erupted after the crash. The violence worsened Monday night as it spread from Villiers-le-Bel to other impoverished suburbs north of the French capital. Rioters burned a library, a nursery school and a car dealership and tried to set some buildings on fire by crashing burning cars into them. Read more....

Even though the media refuses to name the religion of the rioters, does this act portend car bombing? The unnamed religion of the rioting youths does seem to have an affinity to such things.
